1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That that
portion of route two of the State highway system, extending from
the Maryland line to the point of its intersection with the Lee-Jack-
son highway, known as route six of the State highway system, be,
and the same is hereby, designated as “the James Monroe highway,”
and the State highway commissioner is authorized and directed to
appropriately mark the same as such.
Z. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with, or in conflict with
this act, are hereby repealed.
