Chap. 356.—An ACT to prescribe the weight and size of packages of whole wheat
or buckwheat flour exposed or offered for sale in this State. [H B 151]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia. That no rule
or regulation heretofore or hereafter adopted by the board of agricul-
ture and immigration or the commissioner of agriculture and immigra-
tion or the dairy and food commissioner or any of the agencies thereof,
fixing a standard weight for packages of flour offered or exposed for
sale in this State, shall be valid, binding, or applicable to whole wheat
or buckwheat flour. Such whole wheat or buckwheat flour may be
offered or exposed for sale in packages of five or ten pounds 1 in weight
or any other convenient size and weight.
