Chap. 353.—An ACT for the protection of squirrels in the counties of Caroline,
Henrico and King George. [H B 156]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful to hunt, kill, or capture any kind of squirrel in the counties
of Caroline, Henrico or King George between January thirty-first and
November fifteenth of any year.
2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined not less than ten nor more than fifty dollars. ,

3. Nothing in this act shall prevent any person from hunting upon
land owned by them.
