Chap. 327.—An ACT to provide for increasing the membership of the council of
the city of Radford; and to require a unanimous vote of said council in certain

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That on and
ifter the first day of September, nineteen hundred and thirty-two, the
ouncil of the city of Radford shall consist of five members, to be
lected at large, instead of three as theretofore, the two additional
nembers to be chosen for a term of two years by the qualified voters
»f the city at the election to be held therein on the second Tuesday in
june, nineteen hundred and thirty-two.
In the event of a lease or sale of any property rights or franchises
of said city the same must first be approved by a recorded amrmation
vote of all five members of the council. :
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
