Chap. 319.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5429 of the Code of Virginia,
relating to confirmation of reports of fiduciaries. [fH B 191]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
fifty-four hundred and twenty-nine of the Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:

Section 5429. The report, to the extent to which it may be so con-
firmed, shall be taken to be correct, except so far as the same may, in
a suit, in proper time, be surcharged or falsified; provided, however,
that no person who shall have been a party to exceptions filed to the
report shall bring a suit to surcharge or falsify said report, but in such
case the action of the court on the report shall be final as to such party,
but may be appealed from as in other suits in equity.
