Chap. 248.—An ACT for the relief of Raymond C. Almond and Company.

Whereas, at different times during the year nineteen hundred and
twenty-eight, Raymond C. Almond and Company furnished inspectors
of the division of motor vehicles with gasoline and oil, and parts for
motorcycles used by them, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of
two hundred and two dollars and seventy-five cents, which amount the
director of the division of motor vehicles has no authority to pay on
account of the lapse of time since said supplies were furnished ; now,
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That there
be, and is hereby, appropriated the sum of two hundred and two dollars
and seventy-five cents out of the funds in the State treasury, appro-
priated for the construction and maintenance of State highways and
to meet federal aid, to compensate the said Raymond C. Almond and
Company for the supplies so furnished by them, and that the comp-
troller issue his warrant in their favor, on the State treasurer, for the
said sum of two hundred and two dollars and seventy-five cents.
