Chap. 215.—An ACT to authorize and direct the chairman of the board of super-
visors of Campbell county to convey to the trustees of the Rustburg Presby-
terian church a portion of a lot owned by Campbell county in the town of
Rustburg. [H B 274]

Whereas, the county of Campbell has owned for a long period of
time a lot in the town of Rustburg, known as the “county lot,” adjoin-
ing the property of the Rustburg Presbyterian church ; and
Whereas, recently the trustees of the Rustburg Presbyterian church
have deeded, without remuneration, a portion of the front of their lot
to the Commonwealth of Virginia, to be used as a right of way for
straightening and widening State highway route number eighteen at
that point ; now, therefore, ,
I. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
chairman of the board of supervisors of Campbell county be, and is
hereby, authorized and directed to execute and deliver, on behalf of
Campbell county, to the trustees of the Rustburg Presbyterian church
a deed in fee simple to a portion of said “county lot” thirty (30) feet
wide, adjoining the rear end of said church lot and as long as the rear
end of said lot is wide, the parcel to be so conveyed being more par-
ticularly described in a survey to be recorded with, and made a part
of said deed.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
