1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
comptroller be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue his warrant on
the treasurer of Virginia, in favor of E. E. Holloway, of Smithfield,
Virginia, in the sum of four hundred and fifty ($450.00) dollars,
to be charged to the general funds of the State highway department,
the same being the value of property of the said E. E. Holloway,
which was burned by a fire on March the fifteenth, nineteen hundred
and thirty, started by an employee of the State highway commis-
sion; the property destroyed by fire, as aforesaid, being described as
follows, to-wit:
One wooden dwelling house, one hundred bushels of soja beans.
forty bushels of cotton seed, and timber on one acre of land.
