Chap. 154.-An ACT to amend and re-enact section 369 of the Tax Code of Vir-
ginia, relating to the receipt, accounting for, and paying over of taxes and
levies by treasurers of cities and counties. [H B 167]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
three hundred and sixty-nine of the Tax Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 369, Each county and city treasurer shall receive the State
revenue and the levies and other amounts payable into the treasury of
the political subdivision of the Commonwealth served by the treasurer,
and shall account for and pay over the same in the manner provided
by law. This section shall not apply to any city in so far as local
revenues are concerned, where the charter of such city provides other-
wise.
