General Assembly.

Agreed to February 18, 1871.

Whereas, it appears by the action of this house, that the
senator in congress cannot be elected until the second Tues-
day after the fourth of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-
one: therefore,

Be it resolved (with the concurrence of the senate), That
the session of the general assembly be prolonged until the se-
venteenth of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-one.
