Chap. 42.—An ACT making Certain Portions of the Rappahannock river a
Lawful Fence.

Approved January 14, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Rappahannock river, from the confluence of the Rappa-
hannock and the Hazel, to the mouth of Carter’s run, be and
the same is hereby declared a lawful fence.

2, This act shall be in force from its passage.
