Chap. 292.—An ACT to Authorize the Construction of Tram Roads Alonz
tbe County Roads of the Commonwealth.

Approved March 31, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the county courts of the commonwealth,
to grant authority to individuals to construct or build tram-
roads along the county roads: provided, they do not interfere
with travel along such roads, or the proprietary rights of par-
ties along the line of such tram roads; said roads to occupy not
to exceed six feet on one side or the other of such county road.

2. This act shall be in force trom and after its passage.
