serine or trash net within five hundred yards of the mouth of any creck
or inlet in the county of Middlesex, [Hi B 152]

]. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or association to
place, use or maintain any haul seine or trash net within five hun-
dred yards of the mouth of any creek or inlet in the county of
Middlesex.

2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be deemed
euiltyv of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
not less than twenty-five nor more than one hundred dollars for
each violation, and each day any such haul seine or trash net ts used
or maintained shall constitute a separate violation.
