Chap. 33.—aAn ACT to validate, ratify and confirm the issue of bonds made in
pursuance of an act to authorize the city of Williamsburg to borrow a sum
of money not exceeding twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00) dollars, and to
issue bonds therefor, for the purpose of refunding certain water and sewer
system and public school bonds, which were issued, but not sold, and to pay
off the floating indebtedness of the said city, approved March 23, 1926.

Whereas, it has been suggested that there were possibly techni-
cal irregularities in the issue of the bonds hereinafter named; and,
Whereas, said bonds have already been issued and are in the
hands of the purchaser ; and,
Whereas, it is the desire of the authorities of the city of Wil-
hamsburg that the holders of said bonds be vested with absolute
and unquestioned title thereto; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
bonds issued in pursuance of an act to authorize the city of Wil-
namsburg to borrow a sum of money not exceeding twenty-five
thousand ($25,000.00) dollars, and to issue bonds therefor, for the
purpose of refunding certain water and sewer system and public
school bonds, which were issued, but not sold, and to pay off the
foating indebtedness of the said city, approved March twenty-third,
nineteen hundred and twenty-six, be, and the same are validated,
ratified and confirmed, and the holders thereof vested with all the
rights, title and interest therein attempted to be given under the
act referred to.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage,
