1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the State
health commissioner be and he is hereby authorized to grant by proper
deed, executed by himself as such commissioner, to the Virginia Public
Service Company, an easement for the construction, maintenance and
operation of an electric transmission line over a certain portion of the
lands of the Commonwealth in Albemarle county, on which is located
Blue Ridge Sanatorium; the said easement to be over such portion of
such land as may be agreed to by said commissioner and the said com- ©
pany, and: shall be conveyed at such reasonable price and upon such
reasonable terms as may be agreed to by said commissioner and said
company. The purchase price paid for such easement shall be by
said commissioner covered into the treasury of the State.
