to Rescind an Order Heretofore Made by said Courts in Regard tce-
Fences.

Approved March 29, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall be
lawful for the county courts of Sussex, Greenesville, Lunen-
burg, Orange, Dinwiddie, Nottoway, Prince William, Char-
lotte, King William, Halifax, Mecklenburg, and Pittsylvania
counties, after thirty days’ notice shall have been posted at the
front door of.the courthouse, to rescind an order heretofore
made by said courts, adopting the provisions of an act entitled
an act relating to fences and for the protection of crops, passed
January twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-six: pro-
vided, that should the court of any of the counties above
named, determine to rescind the order by which the provisions
of the act of January twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-
six, were adopted, the order of recision shall not go into effect,
nor become operative until twelve months after its date.

2. This act shall be in force from and after its passage.
