ginia as the “J. E. B. Stuart highway.” [H B 204)

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That that part
of the State highway system, beginning in the town of Courtland, at
the intersection of route twelve (12) with route thirty-five (35) going
out of Courtland by route twelve (12) to Emporia, Lawrenceville,
Broadnax, at or near LaCrosse, South Hill, Boydton, Chase City,
Clover, Halifax, Danville, Martinsville, Stuart, Hillsville, Galax, Inde-
pendence and Damascus, to the intersection of route twelve with route
ten, near Abingdon; be, and the same is hereby, designated as the ‘‘J.
FE. B. Stuart Highway.”
