tection of foxes in the counties of Orange and Madison, approved March
14, 1924, as last amended by chapter 76 of the acts of 1926, page aa 2121

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virgjnia, That an act
entitled an act for the protection of foxes in the counties of Orange
and Madison, approved March fourteenth, nineteen hundred .and
twenty-four, as last amended by chapter seventy-six of the acts of
nineteen hundred and twenty-six, page seventy-nine, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to trap foxes in the
counties of Orange and Madison, except during the months of Novem-
ber and December in each year, and it shall be unlawful to shoot foxes
in said counties at any time, except when such foxes are found injur-
ing or killing chickens or other fowls and when such foxes are found
destroying property.
Section 2. Those who trap foxes shall visit their traps once every
day and release any dog or dogs or other domestic animal or fowl
that may have been caught in said traps, and be liable for all damage
done by traps to dogs, domestic animals and fowls.
