county to make an appropriation to J. P. Dalton to reimburse him for extra-
ordinary expenses in connection with the treasurer's othce of said county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Nansemond county be, and it is hereby
authorized to appropriate and pay to J. P. Dalton, treasurer of said
county, out of the general county fund of said county, the sum of
thirteen hundred dollars to reimburse him for extraordinary and un-
avoidable expenses incurred by him in connection with and in having
done, in the office of the treasurer of said county, certain work which
should have been, but was not done by his predecessor in said office.
