Chap. 214.—An ACT to Make Staunton River a Lawful Fence from the Gap
of Smith’s Mountain to Turner’s Ford.
Approved March 28, 1871.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, Tinat Staunton
river from the point where the same passes through Smith’s
mountain on the line between the counties of Pittsylvania
and Bedford, to Turner’s ford below the mouth of Indian creek,
on said river, between the counties of Bedford and Franklin, be
and the same is hereby declared a lawful fence.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
