Chap. 103.—An ACT authorizing the commission of game and inland fisheries
to exercise full control of the hunting and fishing rights and privileges in all
forest and watershed areas in this State which are now owned, or which
may hereafter be acquired for this purpose, by the United States government.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
commission of game and inland fisheries is authorized to exercise
full control of the hunting and fishing rights and privileges in all
forest and watershed areas in this State which are now owned,
and which may hereafter be acquired, by the United States govern-
ment, subject to the rights and powers of the U. S. department of
agriculture therein.
2. The commission of game and inland fisheries shall have the
power to establish sanctuaries and public shooting grounds on
said areas, under such rules and regulations as it may deem wise.
3. The violation of any of the rules and regulations promulgated
hy the said commission governing hunting and fishing or tres-
passing upon sanctuaries, set aside under the provisions of this
act. shall be deemed a misdemeanor.
