Chap. 200.—An ACT to Amend Section 9 of Chapter 184 of the Code, in
Relation to the Fees of Commissioners in Chancery.
Approved March 28, 1871.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section nine
of chapter one hundred and eighty-four of the Code of:
eighteen hundred and sixty, be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
“§ 9. A commissioner in chancery shall receive for services |
which might be performed by notaries, the like fees for like
services, and for any services, such fees as the court by which
he is appointed, may, from time to time, prescribe, not exceed-
ing one dollar when less than an hour is employed; and if
more than an hour be employed, not exceeding the rate of one
dollar for each hour.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
