Chap. 185.—An ACT in Relation to the Repairing, Refitting, and Returning
to the Hall of the House of Delegates the Portraits of Thomas Jefferson
and William Pitt.
Approved March 23, 1871.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the superin-
tendent of public buildings be instructed to have the portraits
of Thomas Jefferson and William Pitt repaired, refitted, and
restored to their appropriate positions in the hall of the house
of delegates. The cost of such repairing, refitting, and restor-
ing said portraits shall not exceed the sum of two hundred
dollars. ,
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
