Chap. 152.—An ACT Appointing Trustees for the Town of Newport, in the
County of Prince William.

Approved March 20, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Aylett Ni-
col, Chs. W. C. Dunnington, John C. Weedon, John Hutche-
son, and James V. Nash, be and they are hereby appointed
trustees of the town of Newport, in the county of Prince
William, with all the rights, powers, and duties conferred on
trustees of towns, either by the act of November fifth, seven-
teen hundred and eighty-seven, not inconsistent with the gene-
ral laws of the state relating to towns, or by chapter fifty-four
of the Code of eighteen hundred and sixty, or any general acts
subsequent thereto.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
