Chap. 132.—An ACT to Vest the Title in School Trustees to a Certain Lot
of Land in Smyth County.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the title to a
lot of land now lying in the Rich Valley school district, in the
county of Smyth, conveyed by deed to George Buchanan,
Thomas Bates, and Thomas Sexton and their successors, as
trustees, by John Dougherty and wife, to be used for a school-
house and meeting house, of record in the clerk’s office of the
county of Wythe, under date of March fourth, eighteen hun-
dred and twenty-one, be, and is hereby vested in E. L. Roberts,
Thomas K. Sexton, and A. J. Hubble, the trustees of Rich
Valley school district in the county of Smyth, and their succes-
sors in office, to be held by them as a schoolhouse and meeting
house, according to the provisions of said deed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
