Chap. 127.—An ACT Amending Section 31, Chapter 184 of Code of Vir-
ginia (edition of 1860), in Relation to the Fees of Clerks in Criminal
Cases.
Approved March 15, 1871.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section thirty-first, chapter one hundred and eighty-four, Code
of eighteen hundred and sixty, be amended and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
“To a clerk of the county or corporation court.
“§ 31. When a court is sitting for the trial of a person
charged with felony, two dollars and fifty cents; but the pro-
visions of this section shall not apply to the clerk of the hust-
ings court of the city of Richmond.” oy
2. This act shall be in force from its passage, and all-acts
and parts of acts inconsistent with the same are hereby 'fe-
pealed.
