Chap. 99.—An ACT to authorize and empower the town of Colonial Beach to
exchange property with G. W. Whalley. [H B 81]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
town of Colonial Beach in Westmoreland county, in this State, be,
and it is hereby, authorized and empowered to convey, with general
warranty of title to G. W. Whalley, certain of its property, located
within the corporate limits of said town, by a deed duly executed and
acknowledged, for and on its behalf, by its mayor, described as fol-
lows, to-wit: Beginning at the western line between lot three and
four, block one, thence north eighty-eight west fourteen feet, thence
south forty-six and three-quarters west one hundred and twelve and
five-tenths feet thence south thirteen and one-half west two hundred
and three feet to a post, thence north seventy-eight and three-quarters
east fifty feet thence north thirty-four and one-half east seventy-seven
and five-tenths feet to western line of lot one block one, thence north
seventeen and one-half east one hundred and thirty feet, thence north
seven and one-half east one hundred feet to place of beginning, upon
the execution and delivery to it of a deed, executed and acknowledged
by the said G. W. Whailey, conveying to it, the said town of Colonial
Beach, with general warranty of title, certain of his property, located
within the corporate limits of said town, described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at an iron peg on the west line of Irving avenue on the line
between lots three and four block one, thence north eighty-eight west
fourteen feet, thence south sixty and one-fourth west one hundred and
thirty-eight and five-tenths feet, thence south thirty-four and one-
half west one hundred and sixty-one feet, thence north seventy-eight
and three-fourths east fifty feet to Irving avenue, thence along Irving
avenue, three hundred and five feet to place of the beginning, being a
part of lots one, two and three block one Colonial Beach, Virginia,
said land to be used as a street.
