1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That no
oyster inspector shall be appointed as required by section thirty-one
hundred and fifty-three of the Code of nineteen hundred and nine-
teen, but the existing terms of all oyster inspectors in this State shall
be continued to and expire on the first day of September, nineteen
hundred and thirty, the appointments to be made in nineteen hundred
and thirty shall be made in accordance with the provisions of section
thirty-one hundred and fifty-three of the Code as amended by the acts
of nineteen hundred and thirty.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from and
after its passage.
