1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That th
College of William and Mary in Virginia be, and it is hereby, author
ized and empowered to make sale, or otherwise dispose of, the prop
erty held by it, as trustee or otherwise, designated and known as th
Paradise property, in the city of Williamsburg, in V irginia, to th
Williamsburg Holding Corporation, or Colonial Williamsburg, Incorpo
rated, or W. A. R. Goodwin, agent, or his successor or successors
upon such terms and for such consideration as it may deém fair anc
just, and the president of said college is hereby empowered to make
execute, and deliver a proper deed of conveyance therefor.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
