Chap. 1.—An ACT to prescribe the salary of the governor of Virginia. [S B 1|

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
salary of the governor of Virginia, on and after the third Wednesday
in January, nineteen hundred and thirty, shall be ten thousand dollars
per annum. The salary aforesaid shall be paid in equal semi-monthly
installments out of any moneys in the State treasury not otherwise
appropriated. —

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

3. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force on and after
the third Wednesday in January, nineteen hundred and thirty.
