Chap. 63.—An ACT to authorize the town council of the town of Tazewell,
Virginia, to convey to property owners on the west side of Tazewell
avenue, a strip of land off the west side of said Tazewell avenue, and to
W. Ed. Peery, his heirs or assigns, a strip off the north side of Pine
street, adjoining his residence property. [H B 114]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
town council of the town of Tazewell, in Tazewell county, Virginia,
be, and it is hereby, authorized and empowered to convey to the prop-
erty Owners Owning property adjoining Tazewell avenue on its west
side, a strip off the west side of said Tazewell avenue lying between
the east property line of said properties and the west line of the con-
crete sidewalk recently constructed on the west side of said avenue,
or so much of said strip of land as the said town council of said town
may so desire to convey, and upon such terms and conditions as the
town council of said town may impose or prescribe; and the said town
council of said town of Tazewell is likewise hereby authorized and em-
powered to convey to W. Ed. Peery, his heirs or assigns, upon such
terms as said town council may prescribe, the strip of land off the
north side of Pine street that lies between the property line of the resi-
dence property of said W. Ed. Peery and the concrete sidewalk re-
cently constructed opposite said residence property and along the
north side of said Pine street.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
