Chap. 452.—An ACT to provide than in any case in which under the laws of
this State provision is made for commutation in money of a life estate
where all the partics interested are under no disability, such provisions
shall also apply where any of the parties interested are under disability ;
and to provide that, in such latter case, the court, or the judge thereof in
vacation, may, upon application of the guardian, committee or trustce of
any such person, on behalf of his ward, enter an order authorizing such
fiduciary to consent on behalf of his ward to such commutation; and to
validate Judicial orders and decrees herctofore entered authorizing any
such commutations where persons under disability were interested.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That in any
case In which under the laws of this State provision is made for com-
mutation in money of a life estate where all the parties interested are
under no disability, such provision shall also apply where any of the
parties interested are under disability, and in any such latter case the
court, or the judge thereof in vacation, may, upon application of the
guardian, committee or trustee of any such person, on behalf of his
ward, and upon hearing evidence satisfactory to such court or judge,
enter an order authorizing such guardian or committee to consent on
behalf of such person under disability to such commutation. Such
consent when so given shall be as valid and effective as if the person
on whose behalf it was given were sui juris and had given such consent.
All judicial orders and decrees heretofore entered authorizing any such
commutation where persons under disability were interested, are here-
by validated and confirmed; provided, however, that nothing in this
act contained shall be construed as intended to impair any vested
right.
