Chap. 451.—An ACT to authorize and direct the board of supervisors of the
the county of Southampton to pay into the treasury of the county of
Nansemond the sum of $3,000.00 duc the latter county under an agreement
entered into in the year 1921. [H B 444]

Approved March 24, 1926.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of the county of Southampton be, and it is hereby,
authorized and directed to pay into the treasury of the county of Nan-
semond the sum of five hundred dollars for each of the years nineteen
hundred and twenty, nineteen hundred and twenty-one, nineteen
hundred and twenty-two, nineteen hundred and twenty-three, nine-
teen hundred and twenty-four and nineteen hundred and twenty-five,
aggregating the sum of three thousand dollars, which said sum is due
the county of Nansemond under a certain agreement entered into be-
tween the boards of supervisors of the counties of Southampton and
Nansemond in the year nineteen hundred and twenty-one.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
