Chap. 413.—An ACT to prescribe the open and closed seasons for partridge
and deer in the county of Dinwiddie. [H B 501]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
open season for the hunting, killing or capturing of partridge (quail)
in the county of Dinwiddie shall be from November first to January
fifteenth, both dates inclusive, and the open season for the hunting,

killing or capturing of deer in the county of Dinwiddie shall be from
November first to December thirty-first, both dates inclusive, in each
year.
2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act by
hunting, killing or capturing partridge (quail) or deer in the county
of Dinwiddie during the closed season, which closed season in the
case of partridge (quail) shall be between January fifteenth and
November first, and in the case of deer between December thirty-
first and November first shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and, on conviction thereof, punished by a fine of not less than five
nor more than fifty dollars for each offense.
