Chap. 407.—An ACT for the protection of fish and game in the waters of Lake
Tecumseh and Red Wing lake, in Princess Anne county, Virginia. [H B 525]
Approved March 24, 1926.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to take, catch or destroy any fish in the
waters of Lake Tecumseh and Red Wing Lake, in Princess Anne
county, with any net, fike, trap or device other than hook and line
until June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-eight, and not
thereafter.
2. It shall be unlawful to shoot wild fowl in the waters of Lake
Tecumseh and Red Wing Lake, in Princess Anne county, from any
device set out in the water away from the edge of the shore and such
shooting may be done only from point blinds along the shore line.
3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be
punished by a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than twenty-
five dollars, or confinement in jail for not less than ten days nor more
than thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the justice or jury trying
the case.
4. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with the provisions of this
act are hereby repealed.
5. An emergency existing, this act shall be enforced from its
passage.
