Chap. 402.—An ACT to authorize the special board of directors of the Eastern
State Hospital to convey to the city of Williamsburg, for cemetery purposes,
not exceeding two acres of the lands of such hospital. [H B 506]
Approved March 24, 1926.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
special board of directors of the Eastern State hospital be, and it is
hereby, authorized, and empowered to convey to the city of Williams-
burg, on such terms as may be agreed upon by the said board and the
council of the said city, not to exceed two acres of the lands of the said
hospital adjoining Cedar Grove cemetery, the land so conveyed to be
used for cemetery purposes. And the council of the said city is
hereby authorized to accept the said conveyance on behalf of the
said city.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
