Chap. 257.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2252 of the Code of Vir-

ginia, as heretofore amended, in relation to the number of the commissioners

of the revenue. [fH B 119]

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
twenty-two hundred and fifty-two of the Code of Virginia, as here-
tofore amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 2252. Number of the commissioners of the revenue.—
There shall be one commissioner of the revenue for each of the counties
now existing, or which may hereafter be created, and one for each city;
but the voters residing within any city shall not vote for the com-
missioner of the revenue for the county within the limits of which the
city lies.

2. This act shall not become effective until the next election of
the commissioners of the revenue.
