Chap. 25.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 9 of an act entitled an act to
define the corporate limits and charter of the city of Williamsburg, approved
March 17, 1884, as heretofore amended. (H

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
nine of an act entitled an act to define the corporate limits and charter
of the city of Williamsburg, approved March seventeenth, eighteen
hundred and eighty-four, as heretofore amended, be further amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 9. The power and authority of said mayor and council-
men shall, in addition to those mentioned and authorized by this act,
be such as are mentioned and prescribed by the Code of Virginia, nine-
teen hundred and nineteen, as amended.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
