1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Floyd county be, and it is hereby, authorized
and empowered to expend, within twelve months from the date upon
which this act becomes effective, and in accordance with the provisions
of an act entitled an act to authorize and empower the board of super-
visors of Floyd county to borrow the sum of two hundred and fifteen
thousand dollars and to issue bonds therefor, for the repair, improve-
ment and construction of certain roads and bridges in the magisterial
districts of said county, approved March twenty-fourth, nineteen hun-
dred and twenty, in so far as the place and manner of making expendi-
tures are concerned, any unexpended balance of money derived from the
sale of bonds issued under and by virtue of the provisions of the said act.
All expenditures made, and acts performed by the board of super-
visors of Floyd county under the provisions of the act hereinbefore
mentioned since the twenty-fourth day of September, nineteen hundred
and twenty-three, are hereby ratified and confirmed, and shall be in all
respects valid.
2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
