Chap. 52.—An ACT to permit the board of visitors of the Virginia school for the
deaf and the blind to sell and convey an easement or right of way for electric
transmission lines, including a telephone line, over and across certain lands
belonging to said school. {S B 192}

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of visitors of the Virginia school for the deaf and the blind be,
and they are hereby, authorized to sell and convey to the Virg:nia- West-
ern Power Company an easement or right of way, for the construction,
maintenance and operation of two electric transmission lines, including
a telephone line, over and across certain lands belonging to the said
school, for such price as they may deem to be fair and reasonable, and
to cause the same to be conveyed to the said power company by a deed
executed by the president of the board of visitors of said school, upom
payment to him of the purchase money.
2. An emergency existing which makes immediate action neces-
sary, this act shall be in force from its passage.
