Chap. 348.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Pittsylvania county
to convey certain real estate to the county school board. [H B 382]

Approved March 20, 1924.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Pittsylvania county be, and it hereby is, author-
ized to convey to the county school board of Pittsylvania county certain
real estate in said county, described as follows:

That piece or parcel of land lying east of the courthouse in the town
of Chatham, consisting of two acres, more or less, and known as the
Old Show Ground, fronting on College avenue on the south and joining
the lands of Hunt, Mundy, Motley, Faison and others.

2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
