Chap. 178.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Lunenburg county
to order the transfer of certain balances in the hands of the county tas s24]
Approved March 14, 1924.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Lunenburg county be, and it is hereby authorized
and empowered to order the transfer to the road bond sinking funds
for the magisterial districts of Plymouth and Lochleven in said county
the balances from district bond issues for roads in said districts in the
hands of the county treasurer as follows: Plymouth magisterial dis-
trict, eighty-four dollars and fifty-four cents; Lochleven magisterial dis-
trict, three dollars and ninety cents; and the said board of supervisors
is further authorized and empowered to transfer and place to the credit
of the present road board of Brown’s Store magisterial district in said
county the sum of two thousand and ninety-five dollars and twenty-five
cents and accumulated interest, now in the hands of the county treas-
urer, being the balance of the proceeds from a former bond issue for
roads in said district. Said balances to be used by the said present
road board in the construction or maintenance, or both, of the section
of road leading from J. G. Bailey’s outlet to Woodrow school in said
istrict.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
