Chap. 144.—An ACT making it unlawful to trespass in the night time upon the
premises or property of any cemetery, either private or public, and fixing the
punishment for the violation thereof. [H B 216]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That if any
person, without the consent of the owner, proprietor or custodian, go
or enter upon, in the night time, the premises, property, driveways or
walks of any cemetery, either public or private, for any purpose other
than to visit the burial lot or grave of some member of his family, he
shall be guilty of a trespass and upon the conviction thereof shall be
fined not more than twenty-five dollars.
