Chap. 132.—An ACT authorizing the town of South Hill to convey to Bright
Leaf Warehousing Corporation a certain portion of Virginia street in said
town. {H B 274)
Approved March 14, 1924.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
town of South Hill, in Mecklenburg county, Virginia, be, and it is here-
by, authorized and empowered, (upon resolution passed by a majority
of the town council of the town of South Hill, Virginia, in meeting as-
sembled) by its mayor and town clerk, to grant and convey, by deed,
to Bright Leaf Warehousing Corporation, that part and portion of Vir-
ginia street in said town, which is occupied by the southeast corner of
the brick warehouse, formerly owned by Center Brick Warehouse, In-
corporated, and now owned by Bright Leaf Warehousing Corporation.
The mayor of said town shall cause the town seal to be affixed to said
deed, which shall be attested by the clerk of said town.
2. Anemergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
