Chap. 131.—An ACT to authorize and empower the council of the city of
Richmond and the board of supervisors of Henrico county to enter
into binding contracts for the maintenance of the poor of said county
by said city. [S B 59]

Approved March 29, 1923.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the council of the city of Richmond and the board of supervisors
of Henrico county are hereby authorized and empowered to
enter into binding contracts for the maintenance of the poor of
the said county by the said city, upon such terms and considera-
tion as may be agreed upon between such council and such
board, or such agencies as they or either of them may designate.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from
its passage.
