Chap. 125.—An ACT in relation to local school taxes or levies in the county
of Carroll. [H B 124]
Approved March 29, 1928.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of the county of Carroll, in levying
county and district school taxes, shall not lay any district school
levy at a rate in excess of thirty-five cents on the one hundred
dollars of the assessed value of property and the county rate
shall not be less than sixty-five cents.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from
its passage. }
