Chap. 1.—An ACT to validate the issuance of $85,000 street improvement
bonds of the town of Lexington, Virginia. [fH B 34]
Approved March 15, 1923.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia as
follows: That all proceedings heretofore taken in the town of
Lexington, Virginia, to authorize the issuance of eighty-five
thousand dollars street improvement bonds of said town, in-
cluding the election held in said town on the sixth day of June,
nineteen hundred and twenty-two, are hereby ratified, approved
and confirmed, and said bonds, when issued, shall be valid and
legally binding obligations of said town of Lexington.
2. All proceedings heretofore taken for the sale of fifty
thousand dollars of said bonds are hereby ratified, approved
and confirmed.
3. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from
its passage.
