Chap. 462.—An ACT to validate the issuance by the board of supervisors of
the county of Cumberland of bonds in the sum of sixty-four thousand one
hundred and ninety-three dollars and twelve cents ($64,193.12) for building
and permanent improvement of certain public roads m1 Hamilton district
of said county, pursuant to an election by the duly qualified voters of said
district held on the twenty-fourth day of September, nineteen hundred
and nineteen, by virtue of an order of the circuit court of said county
entered on the twenty-fifth day of August, nineteen hundred and nineteen.
and to provide for payment of interest on said bonds and to create a sink-
ing fund for payment of the same. [H B 443]

1. Be it enacted By the general assembly of Virginia, That the
issuance by the board of supervisors of the county of Cumberland of
bonds in the sum of sixty-four thousand one hundred and ninety-three
dollars and twelve cents: ($64,193.12) for building and permanent im-
provement of certain public roads in Hamilton magisterial district of
said county, pursuant to an election by the duly qualified voters of
said district, held on the twenty-fourth day of September, nineteer
hundred and nineteen, under an order e circuit court of said
county, entered on the twenty-fifth day of August, nineteen hundrec
and nineteen, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared valid anc
effective in all respects.
The board of supervisors of Cumberland county are hereby au.
thorized and empowered, and it shall be their duty, to lay a levy on al
real estate and tangible personal property in Hamilton magisterial dis.
trict sufficient to pay the interest on, and to create a sinking fund tc
retire, said bonds at maturity.
All acts or parts of any act inconsistent herewith are hereby ex.
pressly repealed.
And an emergency existing, this act shall become effective fron
its passage.
