Chap. 148.—An ACT to allow members of the United States military or naval
reserve force, to hold office under the government of this Commonwealth
or the political or administrative subdivision thereof. CH B 215]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That no
person shall, by reason of being a member of the United States
military or naval reserve force and receiving pay therefor, be dis-
qualified from holding any office under the government of the Com-
monwealth, or under any county, city, town, magisterial district or
school district thereof.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage. ,
