CHaP. 36.—An ACT authorizing the Board of Public Works to examine
all claims for work, &c., on the Covington and Ohio and Blue Ridge Rail-
roads, and report to the General Assembly the result of such examina-
tion.
Approved March 30, 1870.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the board of
pulic works be and they are hereby authorized to examine into
all claims against the state of Virginia on account of contracts
made for the construction of the Covington and Ohio and
Blue Ridge railroads, and if anything shall be found due by
the state to any contractor or his assignee or personal repre-
sentative for work done or materials furnished upon said roads,
that they report to the general assembly the number, nature,
and amount thereof.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
